Video Poker
The game of Video Poker is very similar to slot machines in that you press a button and the reels spin. The key difference is that instead of matching symbols you have to complete poker hands to win. You are infact playing "Draw Poker" via a slot machine.
Typically its a 2 round game, you will press or click the "Draw" button for the reels to spin and your 5 cards will be shown when the reels have finished spinning. You can then choose reels/cards to hold and then "Draw" again and hope to complete a paying poker hand from the pay table.
There are many different variations of the game. The most well known is Jacks or Better in which you will get paid for making a pair of Jacks or any other better hand. There are various variations of Jacks or Better which pay bonuses for different hands. There's also a Tens of Better, which pays out as low as a pair of Tens.
Other variations include wild cards, usually the deuces. Some variations have added cards and bonuses with Joker variations and many others.
Quite often some games will have a bonus gamble feature for picking high or low cards. Like online slot games, some casinos offer the option of playing multi-spin video poker so you can play multiple video poker games at time.
